Hundreds of students went through several moments of anxiety on Wednesday as the website for registration to the University of Delhi's (DU) new Bachelors in Management Studies course went 'under maintenance' for a few hours on Wednesday afternoon.

The new four-year course, which will come under the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), has generated immense curiosity among students and is proving to be one of the most popular ones this year.

"I logged in to apply for the course but the site was under maintenance. I tried calling various people but got no answers. The university should be more careful about these things since our future depends upon it," said Ankit Chauhan, an aspirant.

The website was up and running again in the evening.

The co-ordinator of the application process could not be contacted despite repeated attempts. The application process for the course started on Tuesday.
