The Goa police suspended two more policemen allegedly involved in sexually abusing a girl in a police van and videographing the sequence. Police spokesman Atmaram Deshpande told reporters that constables Sahadeo Sawal and Pritesh Naik were placed under suspension pending an inquiry.

Earlier on December 6, police had suspended Head Constable Santosh Naik who was allegedly involved in the incident while two others videographed the incident.

Deshpande said Director General of Police B S Bassi has also ordered filing of First Information Report (FIR) under Section 377 against the accused.

The incident had occurred ten months ago in Calangute police station jurisdiction and senior police officers had initiated an inquiry into it only in the first week of December when the lewd clip was circulated among the police cadre.

Police Inspector Nolasco Raposo had submitted the detailed inquiry report to Superintendent of Police (North) Bosco George who recommended the suspension.
