Aspirants from NCR take part in job fair in city

Students from various colleges across the national capital region took part in the recruitment drive held at the Government Girls’ College, Sector-14, Gurgaon on Tuesday.


Interviews were conducted by E-Meditek TPA Services for the final year students of post-graduation programmes. Students pursuing bachelors’ courses in Science Commerce, Humanities and Computer also participated in the recruitment drive on the campus.

“Students have come for recruitment from colleges from various districts such as Faridabad, Rewari, Mahendragarh and Gurgaon. A total of 42 candidates were given offer letters by IBM after their interviews and were asked to join right after their final exams,” said Vinay Kumar, administrator for recruitments.

He said that many students got good work profile along with a salary package of Rs. 2-3 lakh per annum.

The Haryana government has been funding job fairs at all the government colleges. The college further takes up the task of training and preparing each student for a week to appear for interviews.

A similar job fair took place at the college on March 6, in which 407 students were recruited by 30 companies.
