The protesters alleged that the doctors at Sona Devi Memorial hospital were responsible for the death of the youth.

The police reached the spot and interrogated the doctors.

The deceased, Dinesh, was a final year engineering student of WCTM College in Farukhnagar.

At 7.30 am on Monday, Dinesh complained of chest pain and was admitted to a nearby Sona Devi Memorial hospital on Sohna road.

The doctor on duty checked Dinesh and stating that it was a gastric attack gave him medicines and two injections.

After taking the medicines, Dinesh's condition worsened following which he was admitted to the hospital again. The doctors finally gave up and referred Dinesh to another hospital at Sector 38.

The doctors here claimed that Dinesh suffered a heart attack on the way to the hospital.

The family and residents of the Badshahpur protested against the doctors for not diagnosing Dinesh's problem and providing him wrong medicines that caused the heart attack.

Suresh Varisht, director of Sona Devi Memorial hospital said, "The ECG report was correct. Dinesh had complained of chest pain for which he visited the hospital alone. Despite the doctors suggesting an admission, he refused. Later, his family members created a ruckus at the hospital."

Ramchandar, SHO, Badshahpur police station, said, "We are awaiting the post-mortem report. Only then we will be able to investigate further."
