An executive working with a private firm in Gurgaon was booked for raping his colleague, police said on Saturday.
Abhishek Sharma, 34, a manager with a private company based on Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road, was booked for sexually harassing a woman working in the same firm.
The woman, 32, also an executive, resident of Delhi's Dwarka, alleged that on the pretext of marriage the accused had been sexually exploiting her for the last four years, police said.
In her complaint, she said she was first raped in 2008 when she worked in the same company as that of the accused. The victim now works in a company at Udyog Vihar.
"On the order of court, we have registered a case against the accused under section 376 (rape) of IPC," Prem Chand, additional station house officer of Sushant Lok police station, told IANS.
