Four booked for theft at Maruti plant

Three workers, including a security guard, were booked for stealing 10 tonnes of steel and rubber from the Maruti Suzuki plant at IMT Manesar. Joginder Singh, a senior official of Maruti, complained to the Manesar police on Saturday.

According to the police, Manoj Kumar and Rajesh Singh had stolen the raw material worth lakhs recently from the factory with the help of guard Balbir Singh.

Soon after the theft, the three employees stopped coming to work. During the stock check, the matter came to light and an internal investigation was conducted.
