The Crime Investigation Agency (CIA)-3 (Palam Vihar) of Gurgaon police recovered a country-made pistol, three live-cartridges, iron rods, gold ornaments, a motorcycle and a laptop from their possession.

The accused were involved in more than 20 snatching incidents. They have been identified as Rinku (19) Rahul (20), Raju (19) — all from Mewat — and Rippan (20).

The gang used to operate in two groups. One group would roam around on motorcycles to rob people at gunpoint in Sushant Lok, sectors 56 and 40, MG Road and Sohna Road while the other would operate on the highway, CIA in-charge Joginder Singh said.
