MCG officials said about 25 compound walls were also razed as part of the crackdown against unauthorised colonies in the Millennium City. The drive was conducted at noon in the presence of the Gurgaon police, an official said.

The registrar of revenue should make the verification process more stringent at the time of allocation of plots to curb illegal constructions, the official added.
