A security supervisor of Sahara Mall was allegedly thrashed by four persons after he stopped them from answering the call of nature in the mall's parking lot on Saturday.

According to the Sector 29 police, the accused, who had visited the mall for shopping, began to relieve themselves on the staircase near the security control room instead of the toilets.

When security personnel Sunil Tiwari (35), a resident of Nathupur village, stopped them from doing so, the accused assaulted him.

"The accused returned to the mall along with other people in three vehicles. The people accompanying them looked like bouncers. At that time, I was alone in the control room and they punched me in the stomach and head. They also tore my uniform," said Tiwari, who has been working in the mall for the last three months.

The accused also robbed of Tiwari's mobile phone and Rs. 500.

However, the accused dispersed when other security guards intervened.

Meanwhile, the police said they had collected CCTV footage. "The accused are employees at Ambience and Sahara malls. Both the parties have been booked," said sub-inspector Satender.
