Jhajjar police have booked two persons for abducting and raping a 19-year-old girl from Sector 6 of Bahadurgarh town of Jhajjar district.
The victim has stated in her complaint that she had gone for the evening walk in Sector-6 park when two persons identified as Anil Kumar, 20, a resident of Barahai village under Bahadurgarh and Subhash Kumar, 30, a resident of Sonepat district abducted her.
She said they overpowered her and took her on Bamdoli-Barahai road and took turns. The victim was dumped at Sector 6 of Bahadurgarh by the accused on Monday morning and fled from the spot.
The police said that victim informed police on Sunday night, upon which she was given immediate help and accused were arrested within hours of crime committed.
Jhajjar SP Anil Dhawan said that the accused who were booked under 365 (kidnapping or abducting) and 376 (rape) of Indian Penal Code has been produced before the court.
