Faridabad: wanted criminal arrested

A man, wanted in over 16 criminal cases, including attempt to murder, was arrested by the police on Monday night.

He was produced before the court on Tuesday which remanded him in two days’ police custody.

The police said the accused, identified as Zafroo of Kheri area in Faridabad, has 16 cases of looting, kidnapping, attempt to murder and snatching pending against him.

Police to conduct polygraphic test on DIG Paraskar

The Mumbai crime branch has sent a letter to deputy inspector general Sunil Paraskar in a bid to seek his permission to conduct a polygraphic and lie detector tests on him. While the police are awaiting a response from Paraskar, the officials said that they would soon approach the court to seek its permission.
