A 19-year-old woman was allegedly raped by two persons after being offered a lift here on Friday night.
Police said the accused knew the victim, a school dropout, and offered her a lift on Rania road here when she was returning from a religious function.
The accused have been identified as Naveen, 25, a resident of Sirsa, and Ashok, 28, a resident of Ratia town of Fatehabad district.
Station house officer (SHO) Hansraj Bishnoi said: "The victim was on foot when the accused, who were tailing her from the religious place, offered to drop her at her home in MC colony on Barnala road."
Three men, including one unidentified, had taken her to a vacant HUDA plot in Sector 20, where Naveen and Ashok allegedly committed the crime in the car, while the third man inside kept watching.
According to the compliant, the victim reached her home late at night and upon being probed by her parents, she narrated the incident to them.
A compliant was submitted by the victim in the HUDA police station on Sunday in which she revealed the identity of the two accused.
Police said that the accused had been booked under sections 376-G (rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
