Kangra gets lion’s share

Kangra, which helped the Congress win Himachal Pradesh, got the lion’s share in ministerial berths, with three names in the list. Besides, it also got a chief Parliamentary secretary.

Of the nine ministers, administered oath on Tuesday, the ones from Kangra were four-time MLA from Nagrota GS Bali, Fatehpur legislator Sujan Singh Pathania and the young MLA from Dharamsala, Sudhir Sharma.

With two ministerial berths still vacant, Sulah MLA Jagjiwan Paul is expected to become part of the cabinet as well.

The Congress won 10 of the 15 seats in Kangra.
