Two minor girls were allegedly raped here. A 15-year-old girl from Vikasnagar was allegedly abducted and gangraped by two youths. The girl was abducted two days ago.

The family found the girl dumped in bushes behind their house in serious condition on Monday evening.

She was admitted to Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC), where her condition was stated to be serious. Both the accused were arrested on Tuesday morning.

According to deputy superintendent of police (DSP), Shimla City, Pankaj Sharma, the police received a complaint of abduction from the victim's mother around 1.30am on Sunday.

The victim's mother alleged that her daughter was gangraped by two youths. One of the accused is a juvenile and was a classmate of the victim. Both the accused hailing from Rohru were residing in Shimla and were known to the victim.

Following the complaint, the police apprehended Hemu, a taxi driver, from his residence while the juvenile was arrested from his college.

The police said the victims were sedated by the accused.

The medical examination of both the accused had been conducted. They would be produced in a local court here on Wednesday.

However, the victim's mother alleged that Hemu had come to their place two days ago, following which her daughter went missing.

She alleged that Hemu abducted her daughter using some anesthetics two days ago and raped her along with an accomplice for two days in unconscious condition.

Later, they dumped her in the bushes behind her house, she claimed.

In another such incident, a 16-year-old girl was abducted from near the IGMC gate when she along with her mother were on the way to the hospital to meet an ailing relative on Monday night.
The victim's mother, a resident of Mashobra, alleged that a man identified as Raju abducted her daughter from near the IGMC gate.

He took her to a hotel and committed the crime. Later, he dumped her outside the IGMC gate in unconscious condition.

Sharma said the accused, Raju, who runs a shop at the Tibetan market here, had been arrested.
Meanwhile, senior medical superintendent of IGMC Ramesh Chand said both the victims were in stable condition, but in a state of trauma.

The 15-year-old victim was shifted to Kamla Nehru State Hospital for further gynaecological treatment, he added.
