Two persons burnt alive in an accident in Hamirpur

In a bizarre incident, two persons were burnt alive when the truck in which they were travelling met with an accident and caught fire near Ukhli village of Hamirpur district last night. The deceased have been identified as Baldev Singh,  truck driver, and the truck cleaner Dharampal.


A police spokesperson told HT that the truck was carrying iron bars from Kangra to Sunni via Shimla when it fell into a hundred feet deep ditch while negotiating a curve and caught fire in which two men were charred to death.
