Media persons attacked allegedly by CPI-M workers

Three media persons were attacked allegedly by CPI-M workers at Kanjikuzhi in the district today when they went to report party's area committee meeting which was cancelled due to 'groupism'.

'Mathrubhumi' television channel reporter Kannan Nair, Asianet channel reporter Rajesh and cameraman Sujit Chandran were beaten up by local CPI-M workers stating that media should not report 'innerparty' matters of the party.
