Four thrown out of moving train after loot in Agra

Four passengers were allegedly thrown out of the moving Jansadharan Express after being looted by about 10 armed men on Monday night near Tundla station. Condition of the one of the victims is said to be critical.

Superintendent of Police for Rural (west) Agra, Ashafq Ahmed said the Kanpur-bound train was coming from Delhi and added that: “About 8-10 armed youths entered the train and after looting passengers threw these four persons out when they offered resistance.”

The train did not have a halt at Tundla and was supposed to stop at Etawah. The GRP had been informed about the incident, ” Ahmed said.

The victims have been identified as Kundan from Bhagalpur, Munna from Muzzafarpur, Ravi Kumar from Delhi and Lalit from south India.
