A 17-year-old girl who was riding pillion on a motorbike was run over by a water tanker after she fell off the bike at Dharavi on Thursday evening.

The Shahu Nagar police arrested the driver of the water tanker, Mohan Awle, on charges of rash driving and culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
