3 month old kidnapped from Kalyan sidewalk

A three-month-old girl was allegedly kidnapped in the wee hours of Tuesday morning at Kalyan.


The victim who lived, on the skywalk above the Mahatma Phule police station, with her maternal grandmother and her mother could not be found after her father, a porter, returned from work.

The father, 23-year-old Krishna Gupta, had left for work at 2am on Tuesday morning.

“Around 4.30am, I returned to the skywalk and found my child and wife sleeping on the skywalk. After covering them with a blanket, I went back to work. I returned to the skywalk at 6.30am and found that my child was nowhere to be found.”

ACP Rahul Mhaske said “As of now, there are no clues as to who carried the child away.”
