Thirty one physically challenged men were arrested for protesting outside the muniicpal commissioner’s office by taking off their shirts on Tuesday.
The protestors said 20 of them had paid deposits to the corporation for allocation of stalls but only six were allotted stalls. The rest
were waiting to get their stalls for the last 10 months, they claimed.
They also demanded that the stalls be allotted to them for life and not just five years. They were remanded to judicial custody for 14 days.
