Four more Mumbaiites tested positive for swine flu on Sunday, taking the total number of positive cases this month to 75. Seven people have died due to swine flu-related complications in Mumbai and peripheral regions in June. Despite the deaths, not many doctors who treat swine flu
patients are keen to get themselves vaccinated. Of the 800 doctors and para-medical staff shortlisted by the BMC, only 225 are inoculated.  Since the vaccine doses are nearing their expiry date in October, the BMC has been sensitising doctors to "remove fears about side effects".

The vaccine has also been made available at KEM, Nair and Sion Hospitals. According to sources, doctors who don't want to take the vaccine will also have to sign a form stating the same.
