The Juhu police have launched a manhunt for a person who had allegedly molested and attempted to kidnap a 13-year-old girl on Tuesday afternoon when the victim was returning home after her tuition class.
The victim, a Class 8 student was returning home after her class at around 4pm with a friend. She dropped her friend off near Juhu church and was alone when a man approached her and asked her to come with him to his office as he wanted to give a number to her father.
“He then her into a building nearby and allegedly molested her while climbing steps,” said police inspector Vijay Khaire, Juhu police station. — HTC
