The medical report of the six-year-old boy studying at a Kurla-based international school, whose family had alleged sexual assault by unidentified men, will be submitted to the magistrate’s court on Saturday.

The boy’s mother had alleged that, on March 18, the attendant of the school bus, Farah Khan, 18, had handed over the boy to unidentified men, who took him in an autorickshaw to Andheri and sexually abused him.

According to police sources, the report from Nair hospital does not corroborate the allegations, paving the way for the release of the lone arrested accused, Khan.

“Khan was arrested after the boy’s parents suspected her involvement. The complaint filed by his parents in the school states that two of his classmates constantly teased and harassed him. We will submit the medical report and a copy of the complaint in the court on Saturday,” said a senior police officer, on condition of anonymity as he is not authorised to speak to the media.

The report of the medical panel from Nair hospital was submitted to the police on Thursday.

A panel of doctors from the hospital had spoken to the boy and examined him on Wednesday.

Khan’s police custody ends on Saturday. So far, there is no evidence to prove her involvement in the crime.
