Mumbai : ACB probe against IPS officer

Home minister RR Patil has announced anti-corruption probe against additional commissioner of police (central) Krishna Prakash for allegedly purchasing property and farm land in illegal manner.
  
Opposition in the Assembly alleged that the senior Indian Police Service officer purchased land in various cities like Shirdi, Pune and Mumbai at prices lower than the market rate.

He was accused of buying agriculture land against the existing state rules which says that only a farmer registered in the state can buy farm land.

An officer of the rank of special inspector general of the anti-corruption bureau will investigate matter and submit report within three months.

Camera traps at SGNP to learn more about leopards, their prey
