The Kalwa police are looking for the parents of a newborn girl who fled after leaving her on the stairs of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Hospital in Kalwa.
Inspector Arun Sonde, Kalwa police station, Thane, said, “On January 8, a staffer at Shivaji Hospital, Kalwa, spotted the infant on the stairs of the hospital and informed the administration. The staff waited a day and when no one came to claim the child, the staff came to the police.”
Police have registered a complaint against the unknown parents.
