Thirty-eight fresh dengue cases were reported on Thursday, taking the total number of cases to 1,315 in the national Capital.
Of these, 11 people are from outside Delhi. South Delhi is the worst-hit. Nearly 500 cases have been reported from the South Delhi Municipal Corporation areas alone.
More than 900 cases were reported in October, the peak season for mosquito-borne diseases. So far, three children have died of the dengue this season.
