AAP announces more probables for Delhi polls

A former CPWD architect, a former army man, a lawyer and a social worker are part of the list of probable candidates for six more assembly constituencies for the forthcoming elections in Delhi of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). The names of the probable candidates were announced on Tuesday.

More than 70 people had applied for candidacy for Ambedkar Nagar, Model Town, Mehrauli, Rohtash Nagar, Seelampur and Shakurbasti constituencies of which 14 were shortlisted by AAP’s screening committee.

The party has already announced candidates for 20 seats and another list of candidates for 11 other seats. There are two each shortlisted candidates from Ambedkar Nagar, Rohtash Nagar, Model Town and Shakurbasti while there are three each from other places.
