AISA sweeps key posts in JNU students' union polls

The All India Students' Association swept all four central panel posts in the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students' Union (JNUSU) election.

The result was declared on Monday morning after a five-hour delay during counting.

AISA has emerged as the most popular party in the last decade with the party having the biggest representation in last years union as well.

The main agenda for the new union is getting a higher merit cum means scholarship amount, starting a sustained gender sensitization module and raising their voice against the UPCS's decision to exclude foreign languages option from the civil services examination.
