Annual Day at Springdales School, Pusa

Springdales School, Pusa Road held its 55th Annual day and the Award Giving Function. The welcome address was presented by School Chairman Gen. Narinder Singh. Chief Guest on the occasion was renowned Sufi vocalist, Zila Khan.

Dr Rajni Kumar, Chairperson, Springdales Education Society felicitated member Managing Board, Prof. Dinesh Singh on his appointment as the Vice Chancellor, University of Delhi.

The highlight of the programme was the presentation, 'Akhir Kyon' that questioned the conflicts in society and expressed the aspiration of an inclusive and tolerant humanity. The school report was presented by the school prefects and the Principal, Ameeta Mulla Wattal.

This was followed by the Prize Distribution. The Vote of thanks was proposed by P. Loomba, Manager, Springdales School Pusa Road.

Bluebells School International, Kailash celebrated its 53rd Annual Day where the Chief Guest was Prof. Shyam B Menon, Vice-Chancellor Ambedkar University. The event included a various song and dance performances, a Ballet, 'Navchetna', a tribute to Nobel Laureate Rabindra Nath Tagore on his 150th birth anniversary.

The International student fraternity of the school participated in Dance, 'Joie-De Vivre' the theme portraying the fusion of Indian culture with Bharat Natyam, Kathak and Manipuri classical and folk dances with Jazz. Prizes to the meritorious students were given away by the guests and the Principal, Suman Kumar.

Students of Salwan Public School, Rajinder Nagar celebrated their Annual day. Delhi High Court judge, Geeta Mittal was the Chief Guest while renowned Bharatnatyam exponent was the guest of honour. Students performed on a musical, 'Dashavtar' depicting the 10 principles and incarnations of Lord Vishnu.

While presenting the annual report card, school principal Rima Ailawadi lauded the students and teachers for winning various inter-school and zonal competitions.

Amity International School, Noida held 'Vasudha', a Science Exhibition-cum-competition at three levels.

The third level was an Inter-Amity competition. The theme focused on building ecological awareness through an indepth study of land resources and exploring boundless possibilities that would bring about sustainable development vis-à-vis agriculture, forestry and non-agricultural projects like infrastructure.

Principal, Renu Singh gave the welcome address.

The first round included display and screening of projects put up by various groups of students from each section and class. Outstanding projects from each section were selected for Round Two.

The winners of round two from each branch qualified for the third round. The three winners from all branches of Amity Group of school.
