Rural Development Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, a former Maharashtra chief minister, cheered loudly as the tableau depicted 'Lavani’ artists travelling by a bullock cart.

Kristiani Yudhoyono, wife of Indonesian President President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, the chief guest, watched the spectacle with enthusiasm.
