A former IAS officer was on Friday granted bail by a Delhi court in a criminal case of cheating and other charges lodged by his ex-wife Vimla Mehra, the director general of Tihar Jail.
Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Raj Kumar Tripathi granted bail to former MCD commissioner KS Mehra on furnishing of a personal bond of Rs. 50,000 with one security of the like amount.
The police have registered a case under section 420 and 406 of IPC against him for allegedly duping Vimla, then his wife, on the pretext of buying a flat.
