Cold days continued in the Capital as the maximum temperature dropped to 18.3 degree Celsius on Wednesday, two degrees below normal. The minimum temperature was recorded as 7.8 degrees.

While cold winds blew through the day, fog gave the city a miss. After affecting flight operations for three days, dense fog finally eased out on Wednesday, and no flights were hampered.

The weatherman has predicted similar conditions, with shallow fog, on Thursday. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 19 degree Celsius, while the minimum will be 8 degree Celsius, according to the meteorological department.
