Chandy meets Prime Minister

Kerala chief minister Oommen Chandy on Wednesday met PM Manmohan Singh to press that the Centre should act to bring back the two Italian marines for trial.

He met the PM around 12.30 am at his office on the parliament complex after Manmohan Singh made a statement in the Lok Sabha, warning of consequences for Italy if the the marines didn't return. The PM's statement is very strong and we hope Italy will obey the Indian law, Chandy said.
