The DSIIDC has completed infrastructure development in 371 of 634 newly-regularised colonies till May this year, an official statement read.
Delhi State Industrial and Infra structural Development Corporation (DSIIDC), a Delhi government's infrastructure development agency, has built about 800 km of roads and 1,500 km of drains as part of Delhi government's ambitious plan to improve the quality of life in these colonies.
The 634 unauthorised colonies given to DSIIDC for carrying out development works are spread over 21 assembly constituencies.
A DSIIDC spokesman said the agency spent Rs. 1,334 crore in financial year 2012-13 on these works.
"Development work amounting Rs. 278 crore in 97 more colonies are in progress," the spokesperson added.
