Delhi University students will have another option to enjoy a tasty, and reasonably-priced fare right on campus, with a new cafeteria having opened up near the Central Library, Arts Faculty, in North Campus.
The self-service cafeteria, which replaces the popular Spic Macay canteen, was inaugurated on Thursday by Delhi University vice-chancellor Dinesh Singh.
The cafeteria's food partner is the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC).
With tea being offered at Rs. 6 and a simple vegetarian thali for Rs. 15, the cafeteria is a good place to catch a reasonable meal, Singh said.
"It is a healthy, hygienic and economical option for the students," he said.
