Delhi: Auto, speeding car collide, Car driver was drunk

An autorickshaw driver was hurt after his vehicle collided with a speeding car in south Delhi’s Malviya Nagar early on Sunday.

The accident took place around 1.20am at the Aurobindo Marg-Press Enclave intersection.

Sources said the impact of the collision was such that both the vehicles overturned and the car skidded on the road for some distance.  

Even though no case was registered in connection with the accident as no complaint was filed by either of the parties, eyewitnesses said the driver of the car, a youngster, was allegedly drunk and had hit a few more vehicles on the road. There were a few more youngsters in the car.
