Delhi boy shines in IIT entrance test

The hard work that Kartikeya Gupta put in for the past four years, 12 hours a day, has paid off. The 17-year-old has emerged as the JEE Advanced topper from Delhi, with 323 marks in the JEE advanced test and 93% marks in Class 12.

A student of Upras Vidyalaya, Vasant Vihar, Kartikeya had joined coaching classes to crack the test that is considered among the toughest in the world.

The son of a home maker and a commissioner in the Income Tax department, Gupta has always been a good student with a lot of focus. Gupta wants to study computer science engineering.
