Electronic fee introduced in dist courts

An electronic court fee system has been introduced in all district courts in the Capital. Chief minister Sheila Dikshit on Tuesday said Delhi had become the first state in the country to achieve this.

"This system was first introduced in the Delhi high court in November 2012. All the six district courts have been implementing the new system since then. The last to implement this is the Karkardooma district court," said Dikshit.

The district courts at Dwarka, Karkardooma, Patiala House, Rohini and Saket have also implemented the e-court fee system.
