The family members of a 17-year-old boy who died in a private hospital on Sunday night has lodged a complaint with the police, alleging that the doctors' negligence was responsible for the boy's death.

The boy, who was hit by a car a few days ago, was undergoing treatment in a private hospital here in Sector 16A.

As the family members of the deceased lodged a complaint with the police, a three-member doctors' team conducted post-mortem on the body and have sent its vital organs to the Rohtak Medical College for further examination.

The deceased 17-year-old boy, Shivam Khatter, was a Class 11 student of Sector 10 in Faridabad. He was returning home on his two-wheeler when a car hit him, leaving him critically injured. He was then taken to a private hospital in Sector 16A where his condition deteriorated and he succumbed to his injuries.

"My brother had just one son which he lost due to the negligence of the doctors," said deceased boy’s uncle Rajesh Khatter.
