Films of Jamia students to be screened at IFFI

Movies and videos made by students of the AJK Mass Communication Research Centre will be screened at the ongoing International Film Festival of India, in Goa.

The seven short movies, ranging from a duration of 13 minutes to 32 minutes, have been made by a group of seven final year students. 

The films will be screened on Monday from 5.30 pm onwards. During the inauguration of the film festival, the students were also felicitated by the festival director, Shankar Mohan.

Films of Jamia students that will be screened at  the festival are Bhoot joota, Paridhi, Dhoomil, Mehta mahatta, Hari ki Meera among others.

Earlier this month, the movies of three Delhi school students were also nominated for the British Academy of Film and Television Arts( BAFTA).
