Law minister Salman Khurshid on Thursday threatened to sue activist-turned-politician Arvind Kejriwal and Aaj Tak news channel for alleging financial bungling by a trust he heads.
Kejriwal dared Khurshid to carry out the threat. He has planned a protest outside the PM’s residence on Friday to demand action against the minister.
Dr Zakir Hussain Memorial Trust, of which Khurshid’s wife is a project director, was alleged to have swindled funds meant for the disabled in UP.
