The tough talk came a day after the UPA government went all out to woo Banerjee and even sympathised with her following the SFI attack on her in Delhi on Tuesday.

Cops claimed the CM had been advised to use the VIP gate of the Planning Commission building, but she had not paid heed. Banerjee cut short her three-day Delhi visit and left for Kolkata without meeting finance minister P Chidambaram.

“I was unwell since last evening,” she said. In Kolkata, Banerjee was admitted to Belle Vue clinic.
