Patna’s best known temple on terror radar
One of the most popular Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Hanuman in Patna is apparently on the terror radar. A telephone caller to the railway control room on Thursday threatened to carry out an act of terror at the ‘Mahavir Sthan’ near the Patna junction railway station. Apprised of the threat call, Bihar police beefed up security in and around the temple.

Bangalore: Jail-break serial rapist Jaishankar held
Notorious criminal and serial rapist Jaishankar, who made a sensational escape from the high-security central prison in Bangalore on September 1, was arrested in Bangalore on Friday. "Jaishankar was arrested from Kudligate in Bangalore", city police commissioner Raghavendra Auradkar told PTI in Bangalore. Police had announced a reward of Rs. five lakh for information leading to his arrest, and issued a look-out notice after the dare-devil act, that also led to suspension of 11 prison officials for alleged dereliction of duty.
