On Friday Rahul Gandhi ended his CII speech saying, "I promise to come back and want to do this more often." Now, sources close to the Congress vice president say his team has already started preparing a calendar for a series of Rahul Gandhi interactions with not just business bodies, but with different sectors, both in India and abroad.

Plans have been laid to hold at least one big interaction of this kind every month.

"He will meet students, academicians, intellectuals, scientists and industry leaders in different meetings. The floodgate has opened after the CII meet," said a source close to him.

Gandhi has also been adviced not to confine his meetings in India but to go abroad.

"He can hold meetings in places such as the US, UK or UAE where there are large number of Indians. But the meetings need not be confined only to Indians...," said a source. But added that the final shape of the meetings is yet to be decided by Gandhi.

Before his CII pep-talk, Gandhi held a closed-door meeting with 42 students from Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan Management School.

A review of his first interaction is believed to have already taken place. Sam Pitroda, a family friend and key advisor feels, "I feel he has performed very well. This was just the beginning and he spoke from the heart. In the coming days, many more interactions are likely to happen."

Although Gandhi had taken inputs from various people to prepare his talking points, sources claimed that the final draft was done entirely by him.
