No service after 9pm on Friday

Three stations in central Delhi will be closed from 9pm on New Year’s eve (Friday) due to security restrictions, the Delhi Metro officials said.

The sale of tickets at Rajiv Chowk, Barakhamba Road and Mandi House stations will be stopped at 8.45pm on December 31, and the entry gates will be closed at 9pm due to security restrictions in the area.

While the stations will be closed, interchange facility between Line-2 (HUDA City Centre-Jahangirpuri) and Line-3 (Dwarka Sec-21 - Noida Sec-32) will remain operational at Rajiv Chowk station. Delhi Metro officials have asked passengers to contact the station staff before purchasing tokens for Rajiv Chowk Metro, Barakhamba Road and Mandi House stations on New Year’s eve.
