No water supply to PM's house, President's Estate for two days

There will be no water supply in almost the entire NDMC area, including the President's Estate and Prime Minister's house, on Wednesday and Thursday as the Chandrawal and Wazirabad plants will remain shut for a repair work. Residents of west, north and south districts will also be
affected.


The Chandrawal and Wazirabad water treatment plants, along with a raw water pump house at Wazirabad water works, will remain shut on these two days due to repair of the main supply lines and interconnection work, said the Delhi Jal Board (DJB).

Apart from the President's Estate and PM's house, the other New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) areas to be hit are Parliament House, Vinay Marg, Akbar Road, Sarojini Nagar, Laxmi Bai Nagar, Akbar Hotel and adjoining areas, Nehru Park, Chanakyapuri, Teen Murti, Safdarjung, Lodhi Road, Shahjahan Road, Race Course, Maulana Azad Road, Sujan Singh Park, Central Secretariat, Ashok Road, India Gate, Sundar Nagar, Connaught Place, Gole Market, Paharganj, RML Hospital, Janpath and nearby areas.

Residents of west Delhi areas like east, west and south Patel Nagar, Shadipur, Khanpur village and adjoining areas, New Rajinder Nagar, NPL Complex and PUSA Institute Complex will also suffer.

North Delhi areas that will be hit are Malka Ganj, Subzi Mandi, Kamla Nagar, Shakti Nagar, Rajpur Road, Police Lines, etc.
