Power supply to be affected in North Delhi

Supply of electricity will be affected in various areas of North Delhi on Friday as power distribution company TPDDL will carry out maintenance of its transmission network in the area.

An official of the Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd (TPDDL) said supply of power will be affected in Bawana, Civil Lines, Subzi Mandi, Keshavpuram, Mangolpuri, Model Town, Moti Nagar, Narela, Pitampura and Rohini.

Supply of power will also be affected in various areas of Shakti Nagar and Shalimar Bagh.

Meanwhile, the Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam (HVPN) said 400 KV substation at Nawada in district Faridabad has been commissioned.  Faridabad will be able to get additional 600 MW power.
