President appoints former MP to AMU council

President Pranab Mukherjee has nominated former MP Wasim Ahmed to the executive council of the Aligarh Muslim University. This would be Wasim’s sixth term as an elected/nominated member of the council.

 
Wasim is recuperating at Mumbai’s Asian Heart Institute after a complex open heart surgery.
 
The President nominated him to the council in his capacity as the visitor of AMU.
