Kiran, a Class 12 student, wrote no suicide note, leaving the reason for killing herself a mystery.

A neighbour went to Kiran's home on Friday night and found her hanging from a ceiling fan. The neighbour alerted the police, and she was shifted to a nearby hospital where she was proclaimed dead on arrival.

"Kiran's parents were attending a wedding in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, and she was alone. We are awaiting their return to establish the reason for her move," a police officer said.
