Ponty Chadha wanted to take over another property apart from the farmhouse, where he was killed, in south Delhi’s Bijwasan area, investigations have revealed.

The day he took over the possession of farmhouse number 42 at DLF Chattarpur farms, his men had also tried to barge into another farmhouse at G-19, Bijwasan, which was also in possession of Hardeep Singh.

The Delhi Police have arrested two men in connection with the Bijwasan case for attempt to trespassing.

Vivek Gogia, Joint Commissioner of Police (Southwest range) confirmed the arrest.

“Our men are investigating two clashes of similar nature. In Bijwasan, the farmhouse guard is the complainant. Acting on the details given by him, two men — Madan Rana and Vijay Malik, a native of Bijnaur, have been arrested,” a senior police officer said.

“There were other men too and more arrests will follow,” the officer added.

The police have said that the men involved in the Bijwasan incident are not connected to the incident at Chhatarpur. As per Delhi Police records, Hardeep Singh had two licenced pistols.
